First Edition Private Reserve Casks from Northern Irish whiskey distillery

Northern Ireland's Echlinville Distillery has launched limited
edition casks to celebrate its first distillation of Irish whiskey.

Echlinville is Northern Ireland's first licensed Irish whiskey
distillery in over 125 years. The inaugural distillation of only 144premium 'First Edition Private Reserve Casks, in over three sizes
is being selectively made available to whiskey connoisseurs and
collectors.

The recently constructed distillery is based at Kircubbin in county Down and is an initiative led by Shane Braniff, who also revived
Northern Ireland's historic Dunville Brand, once among the biggest
selling Irish whiskey brands in the US until the closure of the
Royal Irish Distillery in Belfast. Echlinville has revived the two
premium Dunville brands - VR and Three Crowns.

Mr Braniff, commenting on the launch of the reserve casks, says:
"Our aim is to produce a premium high quality whiskey using barley
grown and malted on our family farm.

"We strive to control the process from raw materials in the field,
to the final drop reaching the glass affording us total traceabilityand authenticity. Our whiskey is produced by a passionate team
committed to achieving excellence," he adds.

The company is also offering an opportunity to whiskey lovers to
visit the new distillery on the picturesque Strangford Lough, an
environmental conservation area.

"We can accommodate guests keen to make their own whiskey, they willhave access to their own still and a member of our team for guidance.

"Our extraordinary new still house is not only a functional space
for production but can easily lend itself to entertaining guests andour tours can offer a real insight into the workings of an
operational distillery," Mr Braniff says.

The official opening of the still house is planned for March 2016
and by Easter the distillery will be ready to take group bookings
offering various packages depending on the visitors need.
