Moy Park breaded poultry listed by Booths in Britain

Moy Park, the leading Northern Ireland poultry processor, has gained a listing from Booths in Great Britain for its breaded chicken range.

Based at Craigavon in county Armagh, Moy Park is Northern Ireland's biggest and most successful food manufacturer.

The deal will see Moy Park's signature range of chicken kievs, southern fried goujons, mini-fillets, garlic kievs and cheese and bacon Sensations in all Booths high-end supermarkets in northern England. The range has already been listed by Nisa and Palmer and Harvey.

Aisling Graham, Moy Park's interim brand marketing manager, commenting on the agreement with Booths, says: "We are delighted to have secured this contract that builds on our existing relationship with Booths, which already stocks a variety of products from our O'Kane's range.

"We relaunched our breaded range in last summer, with a view to re-invigorating it and driving growth in the chilled, breaded sector. We continue to focus on new product development and have plans to extend further the range to introduce new products and flavours in the coming year."

Moy Park is Northern Ireland's only £1 billion business and is a major exporter of poultry products.

Booths, which dates back to 1847, operates a network of around 30 supermarkets in Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and North Yorkshire. It has been described as the 'Waitrose of the North'.
