Dunnes lists three new lines from Northern Ireland's TS Foods

TS Foods, the progressive Northern Ireland food company based in Castlewellan, County Down, recently won listings for three products from Dunnes Stores in the Republic of Ireland.

The family-owned company places a heavy reliance on new product development which has generated a range of foods that combine quality and value for money for the consumer.

TS Foods has developed a particularly strong and expanding Tony's Chippy brand presence throughout Ireland in both retail and foodservice sectors.

The products recently listed by Dunnes for stores throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are:

  • Tony's Chippy Battered Pork Sausages in a pack of 10, featuring a traditional chip shop light and crispy batter

  • Tony's Chippy Battered Beef Burgers in a unique pack of 4, made with 100 per cent Irish beef in a chip shop batter

  • Tony's Chippy Spiced Burgers in a pack of 6, made with 100 per cent Irish beef, onions, herbs and spices in a crispy outer coating.

Natasha Quinn, business development manager at TS Foods, commenting on the new contract with Dunnes, says: "Gaining the listing for three lines from such a prestigious and influential retailer is a marvellous boost for the company and provides a strong platform for us to grow our business further in the Republic of Ireland.

"We feel these products are ideal for Dunnes customers at this time given that they offer quality, flexibility and value for money. The sausages and burgers are ideal either as quick and satisfying snacks or as main meals. They are easily prepared meals for both families and individuals seeking something that's quick and tasty.

"The listings with Dunnes demonstrate our ability to meet high volume demands from leading retailers and foodservice organisations using our state- of- the- art production facilities.

"We are also nimble and flexible which enables us to develop food products that meet the specific requirements of individual customers and to respond quickly and effectively to the changing tastes of consumers in our target markets. Underpinning our business approach is a commitment to develop close working relationships with existing and potential customers," she adds.

Established in 1978, TS Foods employs 50 people in its modern food processing facility which has BRC Grade A accreditation.

The company has a strong customer base across the retail and foodservice sectors throughout Ireland and the UK and the addition of Dunnes will supplement a growing list of Grade A retailers which includes several major UK household names.
