Foster praises tasty Titanic offering from Genesis Crafty

Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has praised a Magherafelt bakery for its innovative thinking following the launch of a new 'Titanic Tastes' range for 2012.

The range, produced by McErlain's bakery under the 'Genesis crafty' brand, will be on shelves across the Northern Ireland from 5 March, and further afield from April.

Arlene Foster said: "I have been asking businesses in Northern Ireland to get involved in the spirit of 2012 and make the most of the unique opportunities it presents for Northern Ireland.

"The new 'Titanic Tastes' range launched by Genesis crafty is an excellent example of how this can be done. With its 'Shipyard Subs' and 'Gigantic Belfast Bap', the Titanic Tastes range will help bring Titanic and Northern Ireland even more in to the consciousness of consumers throughout the United Kingdom.

"With so many outstanding events, celebrations, commemorations and capital projects coming to completion, this is our time and our place to confidently put Northern Ireland on the global tourism map. This is an opportunity not to be missed and I would encourage everyone involved in all aspects of business and tourism to be inspired and join in the spirit of 2012."
