Datos Acquire 4 New Customers in the Food Service Industry

Co. Armagh based Datos Professional Solutions; developers of 'Season' software for the food industry have secured 4 new contracts during the month of October.

These new clients are Melfar Meats based in South London, RD Johns based in Devon, Ballycotton Seafood in Cork, Ireland, and R. Thompson & Sons based in Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland.

Melfar Meats and RD Johns have purchased the Season 'Office' and 'Factory' packages. Both companies supply the catering industry with Meat and will receive vast benefits by computerising their factory. Season 'Office' will manage their Sales and Purchase Order processing, Price Books, Stock Control and Traceability requirements.

By extending their office into the production areas with Season 'Factory', they will gain full control of their processes. Running on Touch Panel PC's linked to existing scales, Season 'Factory' can print and scan barcode labels for accurate stock control and traceability, easily confirm weights and specifications on the factory floor, and provide full yield and costing analysis throughout the entire production process.

Ballycotton Seafood, in Cork, have purchased Season 'Office' and 'Factory', along with bespoke developments to integrate their new fish filleting line that will provide invaluable reports on weights, yields and operator accuracy.

R. Thompson and Son's trading as Farmlay Eggs, are egg packers based in Co. Armagh. They have purchased the robust Season 'Office' and 'Road' packages along with bespoke Factory developments to integrate with their egg grader and packaging machine. Season 'Office' will provide them with essential features which will greatly benefit their company. Season 'Road' will allow them to manage their deliveries, produce Invoices and Credit Notes, identify returns and obtain Proof of Delivery Signatures using robust hand held PDA's

The software is constantly evolving due to client feedback and demand. These 4 new clients will result in new enhancements and developments to Season that will benefit both existing and potential clients, giving them the power to have complete control over their food business in the most cost effective way.
