McArdle Mushrooms in conjunction with its sister companies in the McArdle Group have been in business for over 25 years. In recognising the growing demand for a top quality, organic product range to compliment the more traditional mushroom, in 2000 the company created an organic department to liaise and co-ordinate with the Soil Association, the Irish Organic Farmers and Growers Association and government agencies.

McArdle Mushrooms is the only grower of organic mushrooms in Northern Ireland supplying multiples, local retailers, box schemes and wholesale markets with a full range of organic mushrooms, including: chestnut, portabella, button and closed cup. With the construction of a state- of-the-art packhouse in 2004, McArdle Mushrooms provides a full cool chain distribution service that meets the requirements of Assured Produce and Soil Association.
