Established in 2013 by Karen Boyd, an experienced pizza retailer, Pizzado specialises in producing innovative frozen pizza kits.

The company is now developing significant business in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.

Karen identified a gap in the market for an innovative frozen kit that makes it easier than ever for consumers to create a pizza and enjoy the whole process of doing so.

The Pizzado kit comprises two dough balls with sachets of mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. The dough balls are easily kneaded to make two 9-inch pizza bases. The sauce and cheese are then added and the pizza popped into an oven for around 15 minutes. It's then ready to eat. The re-sealable pack means one set of pizza ingredients can be kept in the freezer for use later.

Virtually all the Pizzado ingredients - the flour and medium fat mozzarella cheese are sourced from NI suppliers. The frozen pizzas are also available in gluten-free and varieties are cheese and tomato, pepperoni and garlic bread flavours. They are also low in sugar and have half the salt of other pizzas currently on the market.
