Forest Feast products from Northern Ireland listed by Asda

Kestrel Foods, the Northern Ireland specialist in healthy snacks, is to supply products to 250 Asda supermarkets across the UK.

Based in Portadown, county Armagh, Kestrel's deal with Asda is its first UK-wide contract. It will supply its Forest Feast branded nuts and dried fruits such as dried mango, sour mango, coco mango and wonder berries from June.

Kestrel commercial director Tim McVicker, commenting on the latest deal, says: "Having our products showcased at Asda across the UK is a fantastic development for our business and one which represents a significant growth opportunity.

"Our Forest Feast Premium Range is our signature range of dried fruit products, sourced from across the globe and designed for snacking, baking or cooking. We take great pride in our products, putting a real emphasis on quality and outstanding flavour.

"We are delighted to have this commitment to quality recognised by major retailers such as Asda and particularly proud to be bringing this range of customers across the UK."

Susanna Hassard, Asda's regional buying manager, says: "Forest Feast's focus on new product development, convenience and health are all vital credentials which have established a trusted supplier relationship and a range which is of huge appeal to our customers."
