Northern Ireland Fod takes centre stage at world's leading food fair

Fourteen companies from Northern Ireland are travelling to Cologne
in Germany this weekend to take part in Anuga, the world's leading
food fair.

Anuga 2015, 10-14 October 2015, is a fair for the retail trade and
the food service and catering market. Invest Northern Ireland has
organised stands in the Meat and Fine Food halls, providing the
opportunity for twelve local companies to showcase the quality and
innovation underpinning local food and drink.

Beef, sheep meat and pork, are among the products on display as wellas products from award-winning artisan food enterprises. Dale Farm and Greenfields will also be exhibiting independently in the Dairy
Hall.

Speaking ahead of the visit, John Hood, Invest NI's Director of Foodand Tourism, said: "Anuga is a significant event for our Agri Food
Industry as it provides a valuable platform for companies to
showcase their products on an international stage.

"Northern Ireland exports food and drink products to over 70
countries worldwide, selling into leading international retail and
food service organisations. This food fair is an unparalleled

and services to a world-wide audience and further build on their
