Northern Irish ice cream flavours Irish Food Summit

Northern Ireland's Glastry Farm Ice Cream was showcased at an
international food summit recently in Dublin. Glastry, based on a
family dairy farm at Kircubbin in county Down, was chosen by Good
Food Ireland for the prestigious food event held as part of the
Web Summit technology event in the Irish capital.

More than 100 chefs and Irish food artisans from Ireland and 90
visiting countries took part in the Food Summit, held as an
international celebration of Ireland's finest in food.

Will Taylor, who established Glastry Farm Ice Cream in 2007 in a
farm diversification project, says: "We were delighted to be part ofthe Food Summit. It was a tremendous oppoprtunity to showcase our
ice creams and sorbets to a very high profile audience."

Among products showcased was Glastry's Teeling Premium Irish
Whiskey Ice Cream, a collaboration with Teeling Irish Whiskey in
Dublin.

Glastry Farm has created unique flavours which have won acclaim and recognition in competitions such as the UK Great Taste Awards. It isa leading supplier of ice cream and sorbets to hotels and
restaurants throughout Ireland and works with top chefs on the
development of different flavours.

Glastry Farm premium ice cream and creamy sorbets are handcrafted
from milk from the farm's own pedigree Holstein-Friesian herd.
The farm has also been accredited by the UK Red Tractor organisation. It is among the most successful dairy farm diversification projects in Northern Ireland.

The products do not include artificial additives, stabilisers or
other artificial ingredients, thereby assuring customers of the
wholesomeness of the ice cream and sorbets.

The range currently features 20 ice creams and four low-fat sorbets.Other ice-cream flavours include rhubarb and custard, heavenly
chocolate and berry blueberry.

Glastry Farm Ice Cream is Northern Ireland's leading artisan
producer of luxury ice cream and low fat sorbets, saw a 15 per cent rise in sales in 2014/15 as a result of its focus on foodservice.

It launched two new flavours for summer 2015 - Callebaut finest
Belgian chocolate with homemade salted caramel and white chocolate
with blackberries.

The Web Summit, being held in Dublin for the third successive year, focuses on the latest developments in a broad range of technology
areas.
