Northern Irish Dunbia wins top award from British client

Dunbia, the leading Northern Irish meat processor, has been named
'Best Irish Beef Supplier' for 2015 by retail butchery specialist
Dalziel, one of the largest meat retailers in the United Kingdom.

The awards, now in their second year, recognise commitment and
excellence in service, quality of product, consistency and product
development.

the extra mile to help us fulfil our promise," said Dalziel's meat
sales director David Whyatt.

Based at Bellshill, near Glasgow, Dalziel operates has more than
1,500 customers across the UK. Dunbia is the exclusive supplier
of Drover's Beef for the UK market.

Founded in 1926 and with 12 strategically located distribution sitesthroughout the UK, Dalziel serves the meat processing and retail butchery industry with a product range that also includes meat
seasoning blends and ingredients for food processors, frozen and
chilled meat, a full range of butchers supplies, crumb and batteringsystems, plastic casings for cooked meat applications and
industrial food machinery.

It has over 40 family butchery businesses around the UK, which it
serves from depots, stretching from Aberdeen to Kent.
Dunbia employs over 4,000 people at plant throughout the British
Isles. Headquartered in Dungannon in county Tyrone, Dunbia has
processing meat plants in Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland anda joint venture in the Netherlands.

Formed in 1976, Dunbia, now the second biggest food processor in
Northern Ireland and among the largest in the UK, exports meat to
around 15 countries worldwide. The main processing plant in the
Republic of Ireland is at Kilbeggan.
