Moy Park extends roast in the bag range

Northern Ireland poultry processor, Moy Park, has launched a new
variation of its 'Good Kitchen' roast-in-the-bag product range.

The new line, which contains pork, sage and onion stuffing, will be available alongside the Extra Tasty and Garlic and Herb whole
chicken products.

"The range was developed to target a growing market for added-value fresh chicken products," says Briege Finnegan, brand marketing
manager at Moy Park.

Based in Craigavon, county Armagh, Moy Park, Northern Ireland's
biggest business, is the first company to use thermoformed
technology for its roast-in-the-bag products. The packaging is
sealed and can go straight into the oven without the need for
piercing. The chicken self-bastes during the cooking process.

"Sales of the range have gone from strength to strength since the
launch of the Extra Tasty and Garlic and Herb varieties in April
2015 - with the products listed in major retailers across Ireland
and convenience retailers in GB," adds Finnegan.

"Consumer research showed there is an appetite for extensions to
this popular range. The new pork, sage and onion whole chicken, willgive consumers a convenient, succulent roast chicken, which saves
time and offers added value as it is already stuffed."

The Moy Park 'Good Kitchen' Roast in the Bag range is available in
retailers across the UK and Ireland, while the new pork, sage and
onion stuffed roast-in-the-bag has secured listings with Nisa Retail, P&H and Costcutter in Great Britain from March.
