'Most Inspiring' Unimush to expand sales in Britain

Unimush Ireland Ltd, the Northern Ireland-based specialist in
prepack and value added mushroom and vegetable products, is aiming
to expand sales in Britain and Ireland following its listing as
one of the UK's 'Most Inspiring Companies' by the London Stock
Exchange (LSE) Group.

Unimush, which also gained a prestigious UK Quality and Food Drink
Award (QFDA) for one of its most successful stuffed mushroom
products last year, gained the coveted LSE Group recognition as
among the fastest growing SME businesses in the UK.

To be selected on the list, businesses had to demonstrate not only
positive growth in revenue over the last four years, but also
significantly outperform their sectors peers.

Based in Armagh, Unimush already supplies major UK and Irish
retailers such as Asda, Morrison's and Lidl as well as wholesale
and foodservice markets.

Kevin McManus, Unimush Ireland's commercial manager, commenting on
the LSE Group recognition, stated: "This is a marvellous endorsementfor Unimush by one of the UK's most influential business groups".

"Our business model was founded on four core principles, placing
product quality, innovation, value and service as key elements to
success. This hasn't changed and we attribute our achievements to
living by these principles". Kevin added, "Our ongoing commitment
to quality runs deep within our ethos, which along with product
innovation, ensures we progress in a manner that is right for
consumer, client and business alike".

The results of this approach is evident in the many product awards
achieved such as UK Great Taste and Grocer Own Label Awards for
their premium quality products. This listing by the LSE Group
gives further confidence to the ambitious Co. Armagh based company, who undertook a significant investment initiative in 2015,
increasing capacity and focusing their commitment on carbon
footprint reduction.

'It's a recognition by Xavier Rolet, chief executive of London StockExchange Group, that "high growth SMEs are the driving force behind the UK economy, developing the skills, jobs and growth we need".

"It's also immensely encouraging that Chancellor George Osborne,
supporting the LSE study, also recognises the pivotal role of SMEs
like Unimush in economic growth, saying that these companies are
"the backbone of the British economy. They create high-quality,
well paid jobs, innovate and drive economic growth".

Unimush Ireland Ltd is a mushroom and vegetable marketing business
with state-of-the-art processing and packing facilities in Armagh
City, employing over 90 staff.

Northern Ireland Food and Drink companies are celebrating the regions pure, natural, quality food and drink in 2016, with a series of
local, national, and international promotional events.
