Hospitality group cheers Northern Irish craft brewery

A leading Northern Ireland-based hospitality group has teamed up with a local craft brewer to launch an exclusive beer for guests and other customers.

The McKeever Hotel Group, which has hotels in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, has launched a speciality craft lager which will be sold exclusively at its five venues.

The Pecking Peacock has been brewed by Hillstown Farm Brewing Company in Randalstown, county Antrim and will be available at the hotel's five premises - Adair Arms, Dunsilly Hotel, Dillon's Hotel, Corrs Corner and the Dunadry Hotel, all based in Northern Ireland.

"Our main aim is to ensure guests who come to our hotels get a distinctive experience unique to Northern Ireland, showcasing all that the community has to offer and the exclusivity of this local product is a demonstration of that," says the hospitality group's Bridgene McKeever.

Jonathan Mitchell of the Hillstown Farm Brewing Company adds: "To have the ability to add the McKeever Hotel Group as a stockist of our beer is a very proud moment for us.

"With five locations across Ireland, this expands our customer base and I hope that everyone will love the product as much as we do."

Hillstown Brewery, based on a family farm in county Antrim has developed a range of craft beers and ales which have won UK Great Taste Awards.
