???Water Within' and ???Drip and Drop' are two exciting new spring water products being launched at IFE 2009 by Antrim Spring Water on the Northern Ireland Pavilion, Stand Nos N3205 / N3219 / N3230, organised by the Food Division of Invest Northern Ireland, the region's business development body.
The new products spring from an artesian well on land owned by Antrim Hills Spring Water, the Northern Ireland based bottling business that has developed and is now marketing the striking new brands for the retail sector / food service market in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. ???We believe our products are naturally unique in that they are sourced from a well deep underground in basalt volcanic rocks, a natural filter that prevents pollutants from entering the water,??? says Peter Geary, Antrim Hills' Managing Director. ???Pressure drives the water through the filtering basalt rock to the surface naturally, which also ensures it is much purer than from other sources, and it then flows by gravity directly to our bottling plant. ???The layers of volcanic basalt rock act as a solid barrier to any pollutants. Our message is a simple and confident one: ???Water Within' is good, healthy water, pure and simple. Water bottled at the source of the artesian spring??¦and not drawn from boreholes,??? he adds. Underpinning the new brands is a strong story line from the artesian spring's history as a key feature in the life of a hill top community in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It was once a rich source of watercress that the community harvested from the un-shaded pools of pure water for sale in local markets. Watercress grows only in pure water. ???Water Within', the company's mainstream product is available in both still and sparkling varieties in a range of sizes from 250ml to 2lt plastic bottles with strong and eye catching branding. The natural quality and purity of the water are prominent in the packaging, showing that it is rich in minerals for healthy bodies such as calcium and magnesium and is low in sodium. The second water brand, ???Drip and Drop' by ???Water Within', being launched by Antrim Hills at IFE, is a new fun and funky product aimed at the parent/child marketplace, especially school lunchboxes. ???Drip and Drop' is being launched with a range comprising still water and also three flavoured and three juicy waters, all of which comply with stringent Education Board standards. ???Drip and Drop's' bright and high impact branding also stresses the purity and healthy features of these spring water products. They are produced without artificial flavourings, preservatives and sweeteners. The attractive branding and marketing support features two colourful blobby characters, Drip and Drop. ???Drip and Drop' products are marketed in a fresh and colourful branding in 250 ml plastic bottles complete with sports caps. The new products represent a significant investment by Antrim Hills spring Water which has been bottling water since 1989. ???I believe we've created two quite different brands which tap into the demand for healthier lifestyles and will stand out on the shelves to attract consumers because of their originality and, above all, the strength of our message emphasizing the natural purity and provenance of the products,??? adds Mr Geary.
