Available for only £1 per pack of six, these spooky treats are best lightly toasted until golden brown, topped with helpings of melted butter and jam.

An Asda Spokesperson said: “We know that shaped, novelty crumpets are always a popular choice amongst our customers, and we wanted to treat our customers to our delicious Ghost Crumpets once again - no trick and all treat.

“This year, Asda has introduced several novelty crumpets including Love Heart Crumpets, Bunny Crumpets and Teddy Crumpets.”
