Belfast’s Longbridge Drinks launches tasty new mixer

Based in Belfast, Longbridge has introduced a Belfast Raspberry and Rose aimed especially as a mixer for the craft gin and vodka now so prominent in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

As well as many outlets in Northern Ireland, Longbridge has been developing in the Republic particularly with high-end customers such as the prestigious Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort.

Director Wayne Adair says the new mixer is made in “small batches from natural botanical flavours and pure rose oil. Our raspberry and rose is the perfect balance of fruity and floral and ideal for craft gin,” he adds.

The new mixer joins an authentic Belfast Ginger Ale and Belfast Premium Tonic Water in the developing Longbridge portfolio of craft soft drinks.

Longbridge Drinks was formed in 2017 and launched its first product, Belfast Ginger Ale, in 2018. The beverage was based on the company’s longstanding success in craft minerals under the Papas Minerals brand and to revive the tradition of soft drink production in Belfast including the original Ginger Ale.

The mineral was first developed in Belfast in the 19th century and was subsequently exported worldwide.

Longbridge also takes its identity from a bridge which spanned the river Lagan in Belfast from 1688 to 1841. Almost a mile in length, Long Bridge was once the longest on the British Isles.
