    Mourne Seafood Bar, the award winning Northern Irish restaurant business, is to launch a range of own branded foods for retail.

    The company, which also owns the popular Belfast Cookery School, has developed hot and cold smoked salmon and three added value pates for retail, initially, through its website.

    Cirillo, the Northern Irish luxury chocolatier, has launched a range of gluten free chocolates for people with coeliac disease. In addition to being gluten free, the chocolates are free from wheat and eggs. The company’s dark chocolate is also dairy-free.

    McCartney’s Butchers, the award winning Northern Irish meat business, is investing in new products through the construction of a state-of-the-art development kitchen complex.

    The company, headed by George McCartney, is gearing up to grow sales outside Northern Ireland for existing meats, including its Great Taste Award winning traditional corned beef, and new products in the pipeline.
  • Major US deal for Grace's Traditional Irish Biscuits

    Grace’s Irish Biscuits in Northern Ireland has won its biggest export deal for traditional handcrafted biscuits. The award winning company, based at Bangor in County Down, has won a contract to supply its traditional oatmeal and shortbread biscuits to leading US discount retailer Cost Plus World Market in San Francisco for sale through its nationwide chain of 260 stores.
  • Marriott Group lists Fivemiletown cheese for meals

    Marriott UK has listed Fivemiletown Creamery’s unique Boil?e speciality goat’s cheese as an ingredient for meals in its network of hotels throughout Britain.

    Boil?e goat’s cheese pearls, available only from Fivemiletown Creamery in Northern Ireland, is being used in five meals, including pasta dishes and salads, on menus across 40 Marriott Hotels in Britain.
