    Jacquelyn Stewart, owner of Northern Irish wheatgrass business Squeeze Juice Cafes, has been named among three finalists for the prestigious Kraft Foods Leading Light Award.

    Based at Warrenpoint in County Down, she is listed as a rising star of the food and grocery industry in the awards announced by IGD and will stand a chance of winning the overall award in the finals on 9th October in London.

  • Asda lists Superior Irish Pork Sausages from Dohertys

    Superior Irish pork sausages from Dohertys, the Northern Irish meat processor, have been listed by Asda in Scotland for the first time. The deal for the sausages, supplied in 720g packs of 16 sausages, follows discussions between Asda and Dohertys over the past few months. Doherty’s has been supplying gluten-free sausages to over 300 Asda supermarkets in Britain since 2009.
