Success For Linden Foods At Meat Management Awards

Northern Irish meat processor, Linden Foods has won a major award at the prestigious Meat Management Awards held recently in the Hilton Birmingham.

The Dungannon based processor won the top award for its innovative Lidl Deluxe Chicken and Leek Pastry Parcels.

The Lidl product from Linden Foods, based in county Tyrone and part of Armagh's Fane Valley Group, has won the 'Best Poultry Product' award due to its uniqueness, look and delicious taste.

"We're extremely happy to have won the 'Best Poultry Product' for our Lidl Deluxe Chicken and Leek Pastry Parcels," says Jacqueline Fitzpatrick, senior account manager at Linden Foods. "We have a strong track record of producing award-winning poultry products, which is something we are extremely proud of.

We have received very positive feedback from this product, which again is a credit to the research and time devoted to perfecting ingredients, taste, cooking experience and overall aesthetics.

Linden Foods were also presented with two 'Highly Commended' Awards for Lidl - Asian Pork Strips with a Black Bean Sauce and Italiamo Caesar Chicken.
