Ireland beefing up for Rugby World Cup with Hannan Meats

Ireland's squad for the Rugby World Cup later this month in England and Wales enjoyed a beefy banquet of award winning meat as their
preparations reached the final stages.

The squad toned up with a meat feast supplied by Hannan's Meats in
Moira cooked by Irish celebrity chef Richard Corrigan at their
headquarters at Carton Hotel, near Maynooth in county Kildare.

The beef menu featured Hannan's multi-award winning Cote de Boeuf,
sirloin steaks on the bone, the recently launched sugar pit beef
short ribs, cured ox tongue, beef cheek and marrow bone.

Helping with the preparations was rugby fan Peter Hannan, managing
director of Hannan Meats.

Mr Hannan said: "We were delighted to supply our high protein beef
for the squad as the members gear up for the rigorous physical
challenges of the Rugby World Cup. I'll be watching their games
closely. It's given us a stake in their success!"
