New Deal for Irwin's from Tesco UK

Northern Ireland's Irwin's Bakery has secured a listing to supply
Tesco in the UK with three new Easter variants of its successful
Joeys buns.

The lemon and white chocolate, carrot cake and chocolate chip buns
will be available from 450 Tesco stores in Britain for an RRP of ?1.
Joeys are sweet madeira buns with a flavoured coating, sprinkled
with desiccated coconut.

The new deal will see Irwin's supply more than 600,000 packs of
Joeys buns annually to over 600 Tesco stores.

Gary Mason, national account manager at Irwin's, says: "Sales of theJoeys range have gone from strength to strength following the launchin Tesco stores in May last year.

"The new listings reflect consumer demand for this type of product -especially around key holiday periods such as Easter.

"It is fantastic to secure this business with Tesco, as it not only highlights the strength of our existing relationship, but also the
quality and appeal of a much-loved local product. We plan to
continue to expand and grow the range throughout 2016."
