Sweet commissions for The Chocolate Manor!

Northern Irish handmade chocolate producer, The Chocolate Manor
produced special boxes of chocolate for the recent Pitch@Palace
event hosted by the Duke of York for 600 guests at St James' Palace in London.

The Pitch@Palace is a programme by Prince Andrew to support
entrepreneurship in the UK. Each of the guests received 50g
chocolate bars created by Geri Martin, founder of The Chocolate
Manor, a bespoke chocolate business that's based in Coleraine,
county Derry.

Geri was also commissioned recently to shape chocolate replicas for singing superstar Adele of the four Brit Awards announced earlier inthe month. Adele was presented with the chocolate awards during her recent two-day gig in Belfast.

"I couldn't quite believe it when I took the call from a business
contact in Belfast," says Geri. "I've been asked to make many uniquepieces in the past, a chocolate Eiffel Tower, printed pieces for
members of the Royal Family, chocolate tools, a map of New Zealand
and even chocolate icebergs and pi?atas for banquets, but to
recreate the Brit Awards in chocolate for Adele was the most
challenging yet!

"I was honoured to be asked, and took some time to think about how
to construct such a recognisable figure from chocolate. In the end,I handcrafted one large figure from our finest Belgian milk
chocolate and four smaller white Belgian chocolate awards, all
adorned with edible glitter decoration.

"The demand for our products has really grown in recent months, and we're so grateful to those who choose The Chocolate Manor when they need to delight and impress - it makes all the hard work worth it
when you know one of your idols has received something you've made!"adds Geri.

Those who have received chocolates handmade by Geri also include
Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts, Game of Thrones' actor Aidan Gillen, Public Enemy's Chuck D, Radio 1's Phil Taggart.

In addition Heston Blumenthal, Peter Jones from BBC's Dragon's Den
and Lord Bilimoria were among 550 guests of HRH The Duke of York,
at the Pitch@Palace event in St James' Palace last November, who allreceived a unique box of chocolates.

Formed in 2012 by artisan chocolatier Geri Martin, the small
business specialises in hand printed chocolates for use with
photographs, messages and logos. She has a background in marketing and public relations and has also acquired qualifications in
chocolate production.
