PROVENANCE OFFERS NEW RANGE OF RICHLY FLAVOURED SALADS

An innovative range of quality salads for consumers serious about flavour has been introduced by Northern Ireland based Provenance and recently listed by Tesco. Five premium products, included a Lite Coleslaw for weight conscious shoppers, are included in the range developed by Provenance's team of experienced chefs for retail markets in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. The other products in the range are: Potato, Bacon and Spinach Salad, Premium Coleslaw, Italian Pasta and Sweet Chilli and Cranberry Coleslaw for the Christmas market. The salads have been created in the company's state-of-the-art kitchens using ingredients sourced from top quality suppliers. The products are targeted at consumers seeking luxury and flavour. Provenance Brand Manager Barbara Hughes, commenting on the new range, says: ???We are passionate about food at Provenance and have focused on salads that as well as being richly flavoured offer something different especially in terms of recipes. We believe our salads will delight those who wish to experiment with taste and satisfy those who appreciate good food. ???Our aim has been to create salads that ultimately raise the standard in the convenience food market. All too often the emphasis for the consumer has been on price and value to the detriment of quality and taste. It is with this in mind that Provenance was born to re establish premium standards and give people the true tastes of home. ???At Provenance, our aim is to offer shoppers products that combine value for money without any compromise whatsoever on taste and quality. Our business is located close to our main suppliers. ???This means consumers can count on consistently high quality food with ingredients including potatoes, cabbage, spinach and tomatoes sourced particularly from reliable farmers,??? she adds. Provenance is based in Newtownards at the heart of the farming community in County Down, Northern Ireland.
