Foyle Food manager in Northern Ireland in line for top award

Meat Management magazine has shortlisted Chris Snow, planning manager at Foyle Food Group in Northern Ireland for the prestigious Young Manager of the Year 2017 award.

Snow is among four managers aged 35 and under shortlisted for the final stages of the awards to be announced in June.

He was chosen by a panel of industry experts chaired by Graham Yarndell, publisher of Meat Management magazine, and including Keith Fisher, chief executive of the Institute of Meat, among the industry's most influential.

The panel was asked to identify young managers who had made exceptional progress as a young meat manager in the fast moving industry.
