World Chocolate Stage for Northern Irish Company

Co Couture have once again shown why they are the number one artisan chocolate producer on the island of Ireland, securing five International chocolate awards and a place in the prestigious World Finals, bringing their total number of national and international awards to 25.

In 2014 Co Couture's Japanese Cherry Sencha 70% bar won Silver at both the International Chocolate Awards and the World Championships, catapulting Co Couture up the rankings and cementing their place as one of the top 40 chocolateries in the world.

This year's awards include a 'Flat White' bar made with the Saints & Scholars coffee blend, roasted by Root & Branch on the Ormeau Road in Belfast, which won at the International Chocolate Awards, qualifying it for the World Championships in October.

Co Couture's organic Hot Chocolate mixes also secured 2 medals at the Academy of Chocolate Awards, putting Co Couture Hot Chocolate into the top 10 in the world.

Deirdre Mc Canny, owner or Co Couture, said of these latest awards "All of us at Co Couture are proud and honoured to win at these prestigious awards. We have been working really hard to reduce the sugar in all of our chocolates which makes these latest awards all the sweeter for us."
