Six from Northern Ireland shortlisted in excellence awards
Six Northern Ireland companies have been shortlisted in the prestigious Food Manufacture Excellence Awards 2017, won last year by Mash Direct, the county Down manufacturer of vegetable sides and convenience dishes.
The awards showcase the achievements of UK food and drink companies and individuals, some of whom will win what has been described as the food manufacturing Oscars at a gala dinner in London on 1 November.
The competition includes many of the UK's biggest companies as well as a host of SMEs.
While the size of entrants may differ, all have broken new ground in innovative food and drink manufacturing, new product development, category management and supply chain improvements.
