Northern Irish Rooney Fish for Conxemar 2017
Rooney Fish, Northern Ireland's leading fish and seafood export business, will be representing the region at Conxemar, the big International frozen seafood exhibition at Vigo in Spain from 3-5 October.
Based at Kilkeel, Northern Ireland's biggest seafood port, Rooney will be showcasing a broad range of fish and seafood including its multi-award winning Mill Bay Oysters, a winner of three stars in the latest UK Great Taste Awards.
Conxemar is regarded as the meeting point for the entire processing sector: wholesalers, importers, exporters, transformers, manufacturers, distributors, cold storages, machinery, auxiliary industry (cooling, packaging, plastics, etc).
Rooney will be the only exhibitor from Northern Ireland among 300 from across the world at the exhibition, now one of the two most important ones in the world.
Rooney Fish director Andrew Rooney says: "Conxemar is a significant event for us in Spain, one of our most important markets. It's also an event which enables us to extend existing contacts and develop new ones in the seafood industry."
