Moy Park teams up with Ulster Rugby club

Ireland's leading poultry processor Moy Park, has 'teamed up' with Ulster Rugby, the Pro 14 Club, as its official poultry supplier for the 2017 / 2018 season.

This is the third year of the company's partnership with Ulster Rugby, which will see Moy Park provide the team with protein-rich chicken, as part of the squad's nutritional regime.

Karen Kelso, director of Business, Moy Park, says: "Over the years, we have developed a really successful and mutually beneficial relationship with Ulster Rugby.

"One of Moy Park's brand values is 'goodness' - not only goodness in food and nutrition but goodness in terms of health and wellbeing, and we recognise how important it is to be active as part of a healthy lifestyle - as well as the important role protein plays in an athlete's development. We know we share this ethos with Ulster Rugby, which makes our ongoing partnership a great fit.

"Going forward we will maximise extensive branding and advertising opportunities, which includes in-stadium advertising as well as becoming Ulster Rugby's digital advertising partner - enabling us to reach thousands of Ulster Rugby fans with the Moy Park brand message. We are really looking forward to being a 'regular fixture' cheering on the team for the rest of the season!"

Neil Hanna, business development manager at Ulster Rugby, adds: "At Ulster Rugby we place a strong emphasis on performance development for the players, and nutrition is a key part of this.

"We have a dedicated group of professionals who ensure each player's performance is optimised through their training and diet. By working with an award-winning food company like Moy Park, we're assured that our players are fuelled with the highest quality produce. Ulster Rugby is delighted to continue our partnership with Moy Park for a third year and we look forward to the rest of the season."
