Based on a family farm at Pomeroy in county Tyrone, Cloughbane Farm Foods is now a leading supplier of convenience meals to major UK and Irish supermarkets, symbol groups and independent stores.

"We've got a whole new look for our Beef Irish Stew for St. Patrick's Day," says Lorna Robinson, managing director of Cloughbane Farm Foods.

The family company, which has won a string of awards for the innovation and quality of its products, uses ingredients which are sourced from UK & Irish Farms.

'We are hoping the luck of the leprechaun will help us see sales soar! Our Irish stew is already our number one selling line, all year round. It's gluten free, low in saturated fat and high in protein. It's a meal for everyone looking for the traditional home cooking they grew up with but without the hassle… best of all - no washing up!"

The market-focused company, established in 2002 by Lorna and Sam, who manages the farm, is now among the most successful and progressive farm diversification businesses in Northern Ireland. Provenance and transparency are a key marketing features for the family-owned and managed business.

Still based on the 18-acres family farm in co. Tyrone Cloughbane, produces its ready meals from a purpose built BRC AA grade cook-room facility.

"At Cloughbane, there are no fancy chefs - just good, honest cooks creating traditional, delicious family foods! The key to their success is being able to offer healthy, nutritious and natural meals without compromising on quality or taste," she adds.

The family farm also produces their own beef, lamb, free-range eggs and dairy.
