Tea Mocktails from Northern Irish gourmet blender
Infuse Artisan Tea in Northern Ireland has used its knowledge and expertise in tea and blending to create three unique 'Tea Mocktails'.
The three mocktails are: Matcha Mojito, Goblin Daiquiri and Ice and Fire, all based on different teas that Aine McGuckian and Duncan Davis, the business partners behind Infuse Artisan Tea, have just created.
The enterprising duo also established Northern Ireland's first tea bar last year.
The tea bar is located in Coleraine, county Derry and is based on the couple's experience in creating original blends which they began selling at markets there in 2016.
Aine McGuckian says: "Tea is such a versatile ingredient that can used in a range of food and drink products. We are both tea lovers and have been exploring different ways to harness the tremendous potential of tea.
Their aim is "to create something truly unique for Northern Ireland and we want people to get involved in the process - hence our development of different products, such as our mocktails, which widen interest in our teas".
"Our mocktails are, of course, non-alcoholic drinks and are really refreshing," she adds.
They are promoting a tea culture through their extensive range of loose leaf teas. The tea bar is a celebration of loose leaf with a selection of more than 30 teas to choose from. They also offer unique experiences such as Gong Fu tea ceremonies and tea and chocolate pairings. The small business has already created an exciting range of loose leaf teas and has received initial bank funding along with support from a crowdfunding campaign.
"Our Matcha Mojito is based on matcha tea shaken with mint, freshly squeezed lime juice and topped with Fentiman's Rose Lemonade. Goblin Daiquiri uses a Very Berry GoblinTea shaken from Miss McKeown's Teas with berry compote and topped with Fentiman's Wild English Elderflower, while Ice and Fire is an adventurous mix of our Smoke and Fire Tea shaken with freshly squeezed lime juice and topped with Fentiman's Curiosity Cola," adds Aine.
