Gold for Northern Ireland in World Gin Awards 2018

That Boutique -y Gin from Shortcross Gin in Northern Ireland has won gold in the annual World Gin Awards 2018.

The gold award was won in the World's Best Classic Gin category by That Boutique-y Gin Company's Estate-Foraged - Shortcross Gin produced by Rademon Craft Distillery at Crossgar in county Down.

The gin is described as being "very citrusy with lots of coriander and a bold, peppery finish. Juniper combines with citrus on the nose, leading to a smooth yet spicy pepper led taste on the palate".

Shortcross, produced by husband and wife team David and Fiona Boyd-Armstrong, led Northern Ireland's recent gin revival and has won a string of awards for taste and premium quality. The small batch distillery, launched in 2015, recently opened a visitor centre and is also now distilling Irish whiskey.

That Boutique-y Gin Company is a sister company of the multi-award-winning That Boutique-y Whisky Company. And for good reason. It was created to specialise on premium gins.

That Boutique-y Gin Company is committed to the production of small batch gins from some of the best brands and distillers around!
