3663 deal for Fivemiletown Creamery's Boilie cheese

Fivemiletown Creamery's Boilíe, the unique Irish recipe cheese made from goat's milk, is being listed by 3663, one of the UK's top foodservice companies.

The cheese will enhance 3663's extensive portfolio of products that it markets to a vast network of 60,000 customers in hotels, restaurants, pubs and bars and canteens throughout the UK and Ireland.

Owen Jones, Fivemiletown Creamery's business development manager, who heads up the company's sales team in Britain, says: "Securing a listing from 3663 is potentially a very important contract for us because it will mean Boilíe being marketed and distributed to the wholesaler's huge network of catering organisations throughout the UK and Ireland.

"The agreement with 3663 will help to increase awareness of what is a very unique and versatile cheese product and position it for further growth in the strategically important UK foodservice sector, a key business growth target for us.

"As a result of our work with major customers, Boilíe now has a very strong position in the marketplace and is selling exceptionally well. It's become our 'hero' cheese product and one now positioned for accelerated growth particularly in Great Britain.

"We see the listing by 3663 as an important endorsement of the quality and uniqueness of Boilíe and will work closely with the wholesaler to ensure customers harness the potential of the product as a highly versatile meal option," he adds.
