Panellists: Elaine Kerr, Director for International Synergies NI Ltd Elaine Kerr has been an integral part of the development and continuity of Invest NI’s Resource Matching Service since 2007. In that time, she has contributed to achieving economic benefits of £45.6m, reducing harmful CO2 emissions by 379,602t and diverting over 400,511 tonnes of reusable material from disposal. Elaine is an active member of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and an accredited WasteSmart Trainer.

Darren Smillie, Business Engagment Specialist, WRAP Darren works in the Business Engagement Team supporting food businesses across the supply chain to ‘Target, Measure & Act’ on food waste through the UK’s Food Waste Reduction Roadmap. Previously, Darren worked for IGD helping companies collaborate, through sharing assets and information, and leading strategic research.
