Moy Park Launches Home Chef Challenge
Moy Park, Ireland’s number one chicken brand, is on the lookout for ‘home cook heroes’ with the launch of its Home Chef Challenge.
The competition is open to all residents in Northern Ireland and will be judged by Moy Park’s very own culinary team. All entrants must do is prepare their favourite chicken dish, record a short video detailing the recipe and upload to Moy Park’s social media channels. The winning dish will be awarded a prize of up to £5,000.
Moira Mills, Moy Park Senior Brand Marketing Manager said:
“With many of us now spending more time at home, and therefore more time in the kitchen, we’re calling out for the best home chefs that Ireland has to offer. Home cooking has become a major trend during the Covid-19 pandemic, and family favourites like the roast dinner have been providing comfort during what has been an uncomfortable time for many.
“Lockdown has seen the kitchen become the focal point for many households, with multitasking mums and dads, and even first-time cooks - moving almost overnight from ready meals to a world of home cooking.
“We want households to come together, have some fun and share delicious dishes prepared in your very own kitchen. Whether it’s the perfect roast, a fiery curry or a family favourite that has been passed down for generations – let’s get cooking!”
While the competition is live, Moy Park will take nominations for Top Community Chefs - recognising those in each province who go the extra mile, whether it be a local soup kitchen, sports club or charity - with the weekly winner receiving a Moy Park hamper.
