Just Live a Little granolas in Northern Ireland wins new sales
Just Live a Little, the Northern Ireland producer of premium breakfast cereals and healthy snack bars, has extended its business with Waitrose, the upmarket food retailer in Britain, and won new sales with leading wholesaler Henderson.
The company, based in Portaferry on picturesque Strangford Lough, has won new business with Waitrose, a longstanding customer, for its handmade Tripleberry granola for around 300 stores across Britain.
The luxury Tripleberry granola joins Whole Almond and Cranberry and Low Sugar Coconut and Chai granolas which Just Live a Little has been supplying to Waitrose in 400g packs for several years.
The Tripleberry includes a tasty and healthy blend of raspberry, blueberry and strawberry. The healthy granolas are slow baked and are available in a range of delicious flavours.
In addition, Just Live a Little is now supplying its Chocolate granola breakfast cereal for 200 of Henderson Group’s SPAR stores throughout Northern Ireland, a first time customer for the family business.
Just Live a Little is owned and managed by husband and wife team David and Jill Crawford, who began making premium granola products by hand in 2011 for local and then international markets.
Both deals are the outcome of ongoing contacts between Just Live a Little and leading wholesalers and retailers in the UK and further afield, Mrs Crawford, progressive company’s commercial director, says.
“Our products are being recognised increasingly here, in Britain and in international markets, as consistently high quality breakfast preferences and for snacks throughout the day.
“Our Trail Mixes are also proving a popular and healthy snack option that’s rich in protein for those who take part in various outdoor activities,” she adds.
The range includes products which are hi-fibre, gluten-free and a rich source of protein. The company’s range is readily available in leading UK supermarkets such as Tesco.
Just Live a Little, now among the most successful Northern Ireland food exporters, supplies granolas and other products to leading retailers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, the Czech Republic and Slovenia.
