Spend a moment with Two Stacks’ new crafted whiskeys is Time Well Spent

Two Stacks, the independent whiskey blender and bottler in Northern Ireland has introduced two new Time Well Spent Irish whiskeys which draw on past traditions to deliver exceptional spirit for today’s special moments. Each bottle comes in an attractive box.

The two hand-selected and crafted rare Irish whiskeys – a 20-year-old cask strength single malt and a 12-year-old cask strength single grain – are each presented beautifully with gold-embossing and an exclusive Two Stacks Glencairn glass in a special presentation box. The whiskeys have been distilled in limited editions at Killowen Distillery, near Rostrevor, in county Down.

Two Stacks has also collaborated with local Mourne musicians in county Down, Matt McGinn and Shannon Copeland, in a new song ‘Time Well Spent’ which is included inside each box in what is a unique development for the local whiskey industry.

“Time Well Spent whiskey is exactly that,” says Liam Brogan, a founder Two Stacks, “a highly rewarding and worthwhile investment of precious time in a rare drop of artisan Irish spirit. We’ve taken our time in crafting this beautiful offering, choosing two delicious whiskeys to be enjoyed by whiskey lovers.

“The first whiskey is a malt no younger than 20 years, aged in ex bourbon barrels and finished in Appleton Rum casks. The second is a 12-year-old grain whiskey aged in bourbon and transferred to single rye cask. All are to be enjoyed in our embossed Two Stacks Glencairn Copita glassware.

“We may not be able to bottle time, but we can bottle what time gives us - whiskeys of age and splendour, gently cradled by the overlapping seasons. They are a taste and moment in time that is priceless,” adds Liam.

They are presented in a special Time Well Spent box that includes: 

Two x 200ml bottles of hand-selected rare Irish whiskeys, each presented beautifully with gold-embossing and an exclusive Two Stacks Glencairn glass to help you take your time enjoying them. 

• 1 x 200ml = 20 Year-Old cask strength single malt (finished in Appleton rum casks for up to 6 months)
• 1 x 200ml = 12 Year-Old cask strength single grain (finished in American rye casks for up to 6 months)

Each cask number identity is printed on the label of each bottle.

And each purchase of Time Well Spent comes with access to the new Matt McGinn-penned track sung by Shannon Copeland – Time Well Spent – the perfect soundtrack to enjoy whiskey drinking moments. A QR code with each pack unlocks live versions of the song from both Matt and Shannon, both successful Irish musicians.
