Long Meadow Cider is a family run business located on the outskirts of Portadown recently established in January 2014 by father and son Pat & Peter McKeever and is the result of an ambitious diversification programme, driven by the family's love and knowledge of the apple industry. The McKeever family have been growing apples for over three generations and know only too well the importance of high quality apples within high quality ciders. By taking control of everything from "PLANT TO POUR" they have produced natural artisan craft ciders.
Theirs are true Artisan Craft Ciders made from 100% natural apple grown & harvested on the home farm, pressed and fermented over time to create their Medium, Blossom Burst, Limited Edition Oak Aged and Mulled Cider. They have also recently added Still & Sparkling Apple Juice to their range as well as Apple Cider Vinegar.
They have won various awards namely The Great Taste Awards, Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards and International Cider Challenge. The company also won Best Drink Business Start Up Business in The Grow Make Eat Drink Awards 2016 as well as winning The Food Heartland Awards 2016 for Best Use of PGI Product for their Medium Cider.
