NEARLY 50 YEARS AGO…

Our parents, John & Brigid, opened a small shop in Cookstown, County Tyrone. The business grew. We're still based in Cookstown but we now operate two large Spar convenience stores and of course, our Gelato wholesale business. In total we employ 85 staff. Our Gelato wholesale business supplies almost 50 outlets across Northern Ireland. Phew.

From the earliest days, we sold whipped and then scooped ice-cream. They were very popular. So in 2011 we started producing our own handmade Italian gelato.

We set to work perfecting our recipe, and began supplying our yummy gelato to other outlets in lots and lots of lovely flavours.
The result is a naturally delicious, affordable treat that can be enjoyed by anyone at any time.
