Wild Atlantic Distillery

Wild Atlantic Distillery is the newest Gin and Whiskey distillery based in Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The distillery is located on the outskirts of Aghyaran, close to the Sperrin Mountains, County Tyrone in the Northwest of Ireland only 15 miles from the Wild Atlantic Way and Donegal.

Our Distillery was inspired by one of nature’s great wonders, the Porcupine Bank. Situated approximately 120 miles off the West coast of Ireland on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. The name of the bank comes from a research vessel called ‘Porcupine’ that discovered them in 1862. The M.V. Porcupine was a sail and paddlewheel used mainly for surveying the oceans.

The wild, rugged and beautiful land around the Wild Atlantic Distillery nurtures the perfect conditions for creating & ageing our traditionally crafted Irish whiskey. The Atlantic Ocean provides the seaweed for our unique & distinctive gin.

We offer our customers two unique experiences in our Distillery, the first of their kind in the North West of Ireland.
We offer a 4 hr Gin School which is the ultimate experience for all gin enthusiasts. Under the guidance of one of our distillers, you will learn about the art of distillation and what it makes to produce a well-balanced and harmonious Gin. Distil your very own Bottle of Gin using a Beautiful Authentic Mini Copper Pot Still. Learn to make all the important cuts that will create your Gin’s Unique Balance and Flavour Profile. Filling your 70cl bottle and name your Unique Gin and Apply a Personalised Label to your Bottle. Take home and enjoy with your friends and family a new Gin made with your own hands
