Medium and sweet ciders are the outcome of a farm diversification project by an Armagh family at the heart of Northern Ireland’s ‘orchard county’. Long Meadow Cider has developed the two-strong range of bottled ciders.

The company, headquartered at Tandragee in county Armagh, was named winner of the top Own Label Supplier in the Crisps, nuts and snacks category in the Supplier of the Year Awards 2014 run by the influential Grocer magazine.

    Poultry processor Moy Park has been named Northern Ireland’s biggest business in a new survey of the Top 100 Companies. Moy Par, which retained this position from last year, recorded profits of almost ?34 million – 39 per cent up on the previous year.
