    Two new potato varieties have been developed by Potato Partners NI (PPNI), a joint venture between research teams in Northern Ireland and the Netherlands. The varieties have already been assessed by suppliers to major UK supermarkets and could be on the shelves for shoppers early next year.

  • New yoghurt smoothies launched by Northern Irish farm business

    Clandeboye Estate, the Northern Irish yoghurt producer, has launched an initial range of yoghurt smoothies. The artisan company, Northern Ireland’s only indigenous yoghurt business, has developed four flavoured smoothies in 250ml containers – blueberry, mango, strawberry and toffee – which are now attracting the attention of leading retailers.
