Graham's Bakery in Northern Ireland wins AmazonFresh listing

Graham's Bakery in Northern Ireland has won a listing from online retailer AmazonFresh for a range of authentic home baked products.

The bakery, based in Dromore, county Down, is supplying its recently launched four-strong range of 'Little Luxuries' cake tubs along with longer established biscuits and its Victoria Sponge to the online retailer.

The luxury tubs are available in 225g - 270g carton tubs in Chocolate Brownie, Coconut, Crispy Caramel and Millionaire Bites and are the latest development in the bakery's successful bite sized cakes and biscuits.

The family-owned company now operates from a purpose-built bakery and already has extensive sales in Great Britain from business with Booker Retail, the Co-Op, Partridges and online retailer Ocado.

The bakery also supplies its range of products to retailers in the US, the Republic of Ireland and the United Arab Emirates, where it has a strong foothold with supermarkets in Dubai.

Sales and Marketing Manager Tim Graham, commenting on the bakery's latest business, says: "Winning a listing from AmazonFresh is a marvellous boost for us because it will strengthen our position in the important Greater London marketplace particularly for our new range of cake tubs, a very different format from our existing and successful range of mini bite cake and biscuit products.

"We'll be working closely with the marketing team at AmazonFresh on promotional initiatives to support what is an immensely important deal for us in a key target market for us,"
he adds.

The bakery, a UK Great Taste award winner, is a third generation family business that started producing a range of freshly baked breads, cakes and buns in 1956 in premises at the heart of the market town of Dromore.

The investment in facilities, new products and intensive marketing particularly in Britain and the Republic is yielding benefits in terms of growing sales outside Northern Ireland.

The company now employs 40 people and operates from a modern bakery on the outskirts of the town. It has a portfolio of 20 different products baked on site.
