Just Live a Little pots new business with Tesco Ireland

Just Live a Little, the Northern Irish producer of luxury granolas, has won business with Tesco Ireland for its two-strong range of granola pots for breakfast and snacking throughout the day.

The company's snack pots have just gone on sale in over 80 Tesco stores across the Republic of Ireland in the latest deal won by Just Live a Little, a family business based on Portaferry, county Down.

Just Live a Little has recently announced export deals in Germany, Spain, Portugal and Slovenia. It also ships products to Hong Kong, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates. Customers also include Waitrose and Ocado, the UK's leading on-line retailer. It has since become one of Northern Ireland's most successful smaller food exporters.

The Northern Ireland company announced the latest business at Gulfood in Dubai, where the small business showed its extensive range of handmade breakfast cereals. The snack pots listed by Tesco Ireland are cranberry and cashew and whole almond. Each pot includes small plastic spoon for convenience.

Jill Crawford, who runs the family business with husband David, says: "We are delighted to have won business for the snack pots from Tesco Ireland. We now have a strong presence on Tesco shelves in the Republic as well as Northern Ireland.

"The luxury granola pots can be eaten at all times of day, on its own or with a little milk or yoghurt. We believe it'll be the best granola ever tasted either way," adds Mrs Crawford.

Just Live a Little was launched by David and Jill Crawford in 2011 to exploit a gap they had identified in the market for luxury breakfast granola. It has developed a diversified product range that also includes granola snack bars.
