Quality Food Award for Northern Irish Coco Mojo

CocoMojo, the Northern Irish producer of healthy lifestyle drinks and other products, has been named winner of the Café People's Choice Quality Food Q Award at the International Food Exhibition in London.

The company, which is based at Lisburn in county Antrim, won the prestigious award for its Pure branded refreshing coconut water drink.

CocoMojo was the only Northern Ireland winner at the event at IFE and the achievement builds on the company's success in winning an innovation award at the recent Gulfood Exhibition in Dubai.

The UK Quality Food Awards at IFE were held in association with Campden BRI. All products entered were put through their paces by 50 plus consumers who judged products at Campden BRI's state of the art consumer testing centre in Leamington Spa during February.

The Quality Food Awards are the most prestigious awards for food and drink products on sale in UK grocery outlets. What sets these awards apart is the impartiality and robustness of the judging process.

IFE is the UK's biggest food and drink exhibition and is held every two years.
CocoMojo Pure drink is a refreshing hydrating drink from young green coconut water. CocoMojo products are also free from gluten, preservatives and refined sugars. Other national awards won by the company include an Irish Quality Food and Drink Award.

Coco Mojo was established in 2014 to develop healthy drinks from coconut water and milk. In addition to drinks, the company produces coconut oil and ingredients such as coconut sugar and flour.
