  • Ewing Ninth Northern Irish in Top 50 UK Foods

    Ewing Seafoods in Belfast, Northern Ireland’s oldest fishmonger, has had a fish product listed by an expert panel of judges in the Top 50 British Foods, an event organised by the UK Guild of Fine Food as part of the annual Great Taste Awards. The listing is the ninth for Northern Ireland in the prestigious food event.

    RubyBlue, the unique artisan berry liqueur produced in Northern Ireland, has won its first business in the Middle East. The company, which handcrafts four liqueur products, is now supplying IKOF, a distributor of a range of spirits in the Lebanon and other parts of the middle east.

    En Place (UK), the Northern Irish specialist in condiments, sauces and jams, has won a second listing in the prestigious Top 50 Foods. The small company, based in Cookstown, county Tyrone, gained the latest award for its Sea Salt Caramel with Pollen sauce. It follows an earlier listing for its uniquely flavoured Sea Buckthorn Berry and Lime Jam.
