Jawbox Gin from Northern Ireland listed at Dublin International Airport

Northern Ireland's single estate Jawbox Premium Gin is now on sale at Dublin International Airport, among the busiest in the British Isles.

The craft gin, launched just a year ago by Gerry White, a leading figure in the drinks industry in Northern Ireland, has recently gone on sale at The Loop Duty Free shops in both terminals at Dublin airport and is the latest in a series of marketing breakthroughs in the UK and Ireland for the first craft gin from Belfast in over a century.

White, commenting on the deal with Dublin Airport, says: "This is a major opportunity for Jawbox at one of the busiest locations in the Irish Republic, one handling over 15 million passengers from Ireland, other parts of Europe and North America.

"It is well-established as the busiest transit hub on the island of Ireland and will ensure that Jawbox is readily available to those seeking a quality spirit from Ireland.

"We are immensely excited about this hugely important business opportunity. I will be supporting this listing by organising regular sampling events in the airport," he adds.
The gin is also available at Belfast International Airport, among its first customers
.

The company also signed a major distribution deal in Britain which is producing business in licensed premises across the country. Jawbox is also now on sale in almost 150 Marks & Spencer stores across Great Britain.

The significant contract with M&S was the biggest retail deal to date in Britain for Jawbox, the first single estate gin distilled in Northern Ireland from barley grown close to the craft distillery in county Down.

Jawbox features a recipe created by Mr White from a unique blend of grain spirit, botanicals and other ingredients including heather harvested from Black Mountain overlooking Belfast.
