Northern Ireland's Passion Preserved in new UK digital deli

Passion Preserved, the Northern Irish producer of award winning savoury jams, relishes and chutney, is among the first group of UK artisan producers to be included in the DeliShops (delishops.co.uk), a unique digital deli launched by Delicious magazine. It is the only participant from Northern Ireland to date.

The magazine, among the widest read food magazines in Britain, is listing a range of artisan products for readers to buy through its digital initiative.

Passion Preserved is a previous regional winner of the magazine's UK Food Producers Awards. The company, based at Lisburn in county Antrim, is run by Claire Kelly and has a string of UK Great Taste Awards for its jams and relishes, most of the ingredients are home-grown.

Passion Preserved products include Indian Inspired Tomatoes, Kasundi Hot Indian Relish and Sunshine Relish.Passion Preserved has a developing business outside Northern Ireland and currently supplies its products to retailers such as Fortnum and Mason in London as well as delis in Britain and the Republic of Ireland. It has also won business in Kuwait from a leading retailer there.

The small company was established in 2013 by Mrs Kelly, who sold a successful accountancy to pursue a passion for artisan food production especially jams and relishes.

DeliShops is a unique e-commerce platform for independent producers, wholesalers, retailers, food groups, festivals and magazines to collaborate and sell more to consumers.
