Northern Ireland’s Echlinville Distillery has launched limited edition casks to celebrate its first distillation of Irish whiskey.
Echlinville is Northern Ireland’s first licensed Irish whiskey distillery in over 125 years. The inaugural distillation of only 144 premium ‘First Edition Private Reserve Casks, in over three sizes is being selectively made available to whiskey connoisseurs and collectors.

Sea Sugar, a new Northern Irish artisan confectionery business, has launched a range of gourmet pulled sweets primarily for adults.

Based at Whitehead in county Antrim, Sea Sugar is the brainchild of business woman Linda McGibbon, who has developed a 10-strong range of pulled, boiled sweets for adults featuring unusual flavours such as mojito, green apple and spearmint, pineapple and coconut and lime and jalapeno.

A unique designer juicery has been launched by Mango Street in Northern Ireland that offers a bespoke on-line service to fresh juice lovers.

The small business, set up as a social enterprise by Colin Mackey, a graphic designer, has introduced a unique ‘My Way: Custom Blends’ service that enables juice enthusiasts to create their own blends on-line and also to choose the quantity they want to purchase. The company cold presses the fresh juice and supplies it to the customer.

Northern Irish vegetable supplier, Gilfresh, has launched an innovative range of DIY juicing packs. The new juicing packs are specifically designed to meet the growing, global trend of extracting and blending raw vegetables and fruit.

Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur increased net sales by six per cent in the first half of last year and was mainly driven by growth in Great Britain and the United States.

Northern Ireland artisan cheese maker Mike’s Fancy Cheese has won new business in England for its handmade Young Buck blue cheese.
