    Two innovative products from Mash Direct, the Northern Irish producer of quick serve potato and vegetable meals, have been shortlisted in a major UK competition.

    Mash Direct’s Dauphinoise Potato and Mashed Potato with Maris Piper Potatoes have been shortlisted among five products in the Ready Meals Category of the Grocer Awards.
  • All Yours snacks in healthy breakthrough in Britain

    All Yours, the rice snack developed by Northern Ireland’s Mackle Snack Foods, has gained a significant foothold in the British marketplace.

    The company, a longstanding manufacturer of snacks, which launched All Yours, a range of premium bite-sized, crispy rice clusters for healthier snacking, has signed a deal with Premier Partners, based near Oxford, to distribute the new snacks throughout Britain.
  • Natural way to flavour steak from Northern Ireland

    A natural way to enhance the flavour of steak has been developed by Kettyle Irish Foods, an award-winning specialist in dry-aged meats.
    The company, based at Lisnaskea in rural county Fermanagh, has created a unique dry-aged bone marrow butter which recently won a listing by the UK Guild of Fine Food as one of Britain’s Top 50 Foods.

    Kettyle Irish Foods, the Northern Irish producer of dry-aged beef and other meats, is supplying products to the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games.

    The company, based at Lisnaskea in County Fermanagh, is supplying a range of products to Sodexo, caterers at the Olympic Village and across the main venues in London.

  • Henning Brothers Invests to Grow Export Sales

    Henning Brothers, the leading Northern Irish seafood processor, has invested ?170,000 in innovative equipment and marketing activities to accelerate the growth in its export sales.
    The family-owned and managed company, which is based at Kilkeel harbour, Northern Ireland’s biggest fishing port, in County Down, has installed state-of-the-art equipment, the first of its type in Ireland, which is enabling it to increase production of white and brown crab meat to meet the growing demand from high-end restaurants in Europe.
